The Delaware Turkey Trot is great for anyone looking for a Thanksgiving Day race. Our race is held behind Glenwood Commons, which means there is tons of parking. Our course provides a good balance of paved roads and a short trail. Plus our chip-timed course makes it great for competitive runners. So whether this is your first 5K, or you are looking to break your PR, this is the race for you.
Also with our 2 Little Gobbler Runs (1 for ages 4 and under which is 100 yards long; and 1 for ages 5-8 which is 200 yards long), this event is great for families. The Kids receive long-sleeved t-shirts and a goody bag, and the adults receive long-sleeved t-shirts, a runner's medal, and a pumpkin pie if they finish in the top 800!
T-shirts are guaranteed to those who per-registered by Nov 14th. Those registered after Nov 14th may still receive a shirt, but we can only guarantee it to those registered by Nov 14th.
